Green Is The New Gold

Barack Obama has declared himself to be God. I thought the campaign was getting a little nutty to begin with, but when Barack acclaimed during last Tuesday's Democratic debate that, "I have to be straight with the American people. I have to tell them how I will stop climate change," did he mean he can actually control the weather? It sounded that way to me.

I thought only God or Mother Nature could do that. Now, I know what Mother Nature looks like; I remember seeing her on those TV margarine ads some years back. You remember, "Never fool with mother nature." So knowing that she or God are the only two beings who could change or control the weather, Obama by his own inference must be God. He certainly doesn't look like Mother Nature, at least the Mother Nature we all know.

I thought the Democrats; at least the far left are secular progressives why would they want to put God in the White House? Barack, you may have just slipped on the ice. Oh! Did I say ice, I'm sorry we are running out of ice. At least that is what Al Gore is telling us. Listening to Obama the other night I started to turn my attention to the issue of Climate Change.

I have discovered three things; the first is that Global Warming is real. The second is that Gorebal [my italics] warming is not. The third is that the New York Times and the mainstream media may have reevaluated their belief of the man made global warming theory. They subtlety have changed from calling it Global Warming to describing it as climate change. Have you noticed?

Global Warming is Mother Natures or God's way of heating up the Earth every forty years. It is a natural cooling and warming cycle that has been occurring in forty-year cycles since the "Medieval Warm Period," which existed from approximately A.D. 1,000 to A.D. 1350. The Earth was evidently coming out of a relatively cold period in the 1800's, so warming in the past century may be part of this natural recovery. That is a scientific fact according to all the research that I reviewed, that may be indisputable. The 1800's; wasn't that before all the SUV's, factories and cow dung arrived on the scene.

Gorebal warming as far as I am concerned is not science, but science fiction. It is pure conjecture that is so full of holes it is sinking faster than the Titanic. By the way, the Titanic hit an iceberg that broke off and floated into its path. I wonder if it broke off from Greenland due to Global Warming.

That year was 1912 a little before the invention of the SUV. [My thought] So according to the Gorebal Warming theorists, remember Al Gore and his proponents still call it the Global Warming Theory; theory is not fact it is a hypothesis that must be proven, we may only have ten-years left before we start to build the next ark. Where is Noah when you need him? We have trouble predicting tomorrow's weather, so how can we know what will happen ten-years hence?

So with all this conjecture and Gorebal Warming theories what has happened? Green has become the new Gold.

If you really believe that changing your light bulbs, riding bicycles to work, and holding your breath so you don't let out dangerous CO2 is going to stop the ice in the Arctic Circle from melting, I have a bridge in New York City to sell you. The mainstream media and Gorebal Warming proponents will not show you pictures of the Antarctic Circle, which is breaking all kinds of records for freezing.

The whole issue of Global Warming began when Al Gore claims he read Michael Crichton's book "State Of Fear." He apparently went beyond what Crichton wrote and developed his own theories concerning Global Warming. He then demonstrated them in his movie "An Inconvenient Truth." Crichton's book was also fiction.

Based upon his theories he was able to convince the American people and the world that in less than ten- years "Every living thing on the face of the earth may be extinct." So now, we have a new mantra "Go Green." I remember when "go green" was a cheer for the New York Jets football team. Now it is a cry to repair the effects of Global Warming.

This has created a brand new industry and a warm, fuzzy feeling that you will be helping the environment. However, everything green costs more, which is lining the pockets of those who were smart enough to be entrepreneurial and join the cause before it starts to get cold.

Don't despair; there is help on the way. All we have to do is elect Barack Obama. He will do it single handedly.

In retrospect, I am glad that Al Gore didn't read Michael Crichton's other book "Jurassic Park." If he did, I would need a backhoe to use as a pooper scooper for my pet dinosaur.

And, that is my opinion.
