However, they will try to put this into another bill.
Read the following letter from a Wyoming Rancher that helped to stop this time the LWCF in the Transportation Bill. But as always environmental elitists want the land for themselves, seeing the public as if cattle that can be fenced out of their own land.
If this comes up again, save this letter for content if having to write to Congress again:
Dear Honorable Senator:
Please vote ”NO” to the Highway bill or the Transportation bill which could place 1.4 billion dollars a year to the PS, FS, BLM, FWS, which are heavy laden with too many people and no resource production.
Most of the so-called public lands are locked up, because of resource management plans, draft management plans, wilderness areas, wildness study areas, and the Endangered Species Act.
Through these, our federal agencies are grabbing more and more land so resources cannot be used or reused. The manifest agenda has been and continues to be that federal lands will have no production or people whatsoever.
Whose public lands are these? Ours? Theirs? The last 3 decades have proven successful for the green groups who do not want people, progress, or production of the land and its resources.
Joining in has been successful for politicians to return to office with the promise of America being more environmentally savvy.
Is it really?
The pine beetles could have been sprayed, but instead, the naturally green movement made all of the naturally green trees brown and reddish brown. This took years, but by golly, our federales got it done. Hillsides and mountains have been sickening to gaze upon. These vast dead areas of the West are insane . . . a political effort to get rid of private enterprise, which once made America great.
The massive fuel build up in and among the trees has been an overkill of shrubs and brush, and now we watch the results of this mismanagement on the news.
The forests of the west are now burning, because we do not even consider forestry as a renewable resource industry for healthy tree production.
Sadly many those forestry businesses are long gone. Over many years our own federal government has been mandating the shutting down of private businesses, putting people off of the public lands, and encouraging policy of fuel build-up for fires.
This paradigm of thinking has anesthetized common sense.
Productive stewardship of the land is natural, smart, and employs people in the private sector - not the public sector, which is financially broke and by the minute sinking deeper into debt; today the US National debt is surpassing over 15.8 trillion dollars.
Please vote NO on the Highway bill or the Transportation bill.
Take back our country by demonstrating responsible saving, less spending, and little or no federal interference in American businesses and lives.Concerned citizens,

- If the Park Service, Forest Service, Fish and Wildlife Service and BLM get the EXTRA $1.4 Billion Dollars over their normal appropriations, the greens are going for, no community will be safe. Land acquisition will go crazy. The Greens want to use this as a precedent for spending every year.
- No Trust Fund: Don’t allow the Greens to create a huge land acquisition trust fund that threatens rural America. Congress needs to cut the deficit and the debt, not buy private land and turn it into Federal land.
- The Greens would plan to use the huge trust fund money as a precedent to increase the amount of money Congress gives the LWCF EVERY YEAR. They want to make it a Trust Fund like CARA.
Don’t let it happen.
Call, Fax and e-mail at least once a day if this comes again in Congress. The battle is turning into funding a CARA like land acquisition Trust Fund. The Greens want to set a precedent for these funds so the LWCF gets over $1 Billion dollars every year, automatically, off budget. That will be the death of rural America.
CARA is the giant $3 billion dollar a year land acquisition trust fund you defeated 10 years ago.
Now they are trying to come back. You don’t need a bill number. That is always changing on this issue anyway. Just focus your calls, faxes and e-mails on the issue for rural America.

1. Please forward this message out quickly to at least 10 other
people. Your whole list if possible.2. Call, fax and e-mail your Congressman. Deluge him or her
with calls to stop the LWCF Funding. Call any Congressman at (202)
225-3121.3. Call, fax and e-mail any Congressman or Senator from your
state who is on the Conference Committee.4. Call the leadership in the House. Make sure they know that if
the House lets you down on the LWCF, they will be remembered in the next election.We’ve listed their numbers below. Make sure they know that Republicans will not be given immunity on the LWCF issue. If they sell you out, you will remember their names.

touted by park officials is 'meaningless' and a more proactive method
is generally used," said William Kriz, chief of Land Acquisition for
