They instead are filled with progressives who have no problem putting down their country not unlike John Kerry, the progressive's role model. He is said to have lied about the conduct of our troops in Vietnam in testimony to the U.S. Senate during the Vietnam War. He tossed away his metals, which Bill Ayers said was his finest moment, while in the war he had pushed for three Purple Hearts, the number at the time that was needed to be taken out of harm's way.
Then he gladly accepted an award, (note the smile in the photo), from the Vietnamese in the early 1990's for helping America to walk away from winning the war. We must remember that it is also John Kerry's Democrats in the Senate who will NOT pass a bill to give those murdered and injured at Fort Hood . . . wait for it . . . Purple Hearts that Obama said he would veto if passed.
It is now reported Obama will nominate Kerry for Secretary of State. How much more personal damage to the U.S. and its people will Kerry do in this position, critical to America's role in the world? You couldn't make this up if you wanted to about a country that has lost its way, as Rome lost its way, leaving a Republic in the dust. - Webmaster

National Atheist organization, true to its colors, uses a Times Square Billboard to ask Americans to "Dump" Christ. 80 years ago Nazis had asked Germans to dump the Jew. Both had used the tool of choice that is seen today more and more from America's left; Fascism.

"A group called American Atheists has posted a high-profile billboard in New York City's Times Square depicting Christianity as a 'myth,' apparently mocking Jesus Christ on the cross. The group, which first launched its Christmas 'myth' campaign in 2010, ramped up its campaign with a giant sign that features an image of Santa Claus, an equally large picture portraying a suffering Jesus on the cross, along with the phrase, “Keep the Merry — Dump the Myth!”
David Silverman, president of the atheist club, claimed in a press release that his group thinks 'a large population of Christians are actually 'atheists' who feel trapped in their family's religion.' He declared that 'you do not have to lie and call yourself Christian in order to have a festive holiday season. You can be merry without the myth, and indeed, you should.'
Silverman justified the latest controversial sign by stating that his club was trying to 'encourage people to be honest with themselves and their families this year. If you don't believe in God, tell your family — honesty is the greatest gift, and they deserve it.”'
The anti-Christmas billboard campaign the atheist group came up with last year, which debuted on the New Jersey side of the Lincoln Tunnel, was nearly as offensive to many Christians, with pictures of Jesus, Santa Claus, the Greek god Poseidon, and a Satan-like figure in a business suit, along with the slogan: '37 Million Americans know myths when they see them,' followed by, 'What myths do you see?'
That billboard received almost universally negative response, with the comments of one mainline pastor from New Jersey summing up the public perception. The minister told the Christian Post that not only was the sign 'ignorant and vulgar,' but it demonstrated a lack of understanding on the part of the American Atheists about the meaning of the term 'myth' in relation to classical literature." . . . Note: Atheists, in their anger, are actually glorifying Christ, (even though they call him a myth), when it's well documented Christ, who really did preach love to one another, was handed over to the Romans by Jews to be murdered and since then has become the most followed figure in the history of the world.
By singling out Christ in Gotham City while ignoring Buddha and Allah, these atheists obviously believe Christ is the real deity and not the others. It's why I wrote they're glorifying him in everything his life stood for since walking the earth in human form around 2,000 years ago. Josh McDowell, in his classic book titled, "Evidence That Demands A Verdict," brought Christ's life down to three simple conclusions. Knife-wielding man slashed 22 children and an adult at an elementary school in central China on Friday
"The man attacked the children at the gate of a school in Chenpeng village in Henan province, the Xinhua news agency reported. Police arrested a 36-year-old man, identified as villager Min Yingjun, Xinhua said. It did not give further details of the extent of the injuries." . . . Read More
AOL's Huffington Post, Purchased By AOL's CEO, Publishes Threat To Conservative Web Site
Writing in the Huffington Post, a senior fellow at a George Soros-funded radical think tank with close ties to the Democratic Party seemingly threatened David Horowitz's Discover The Networks Web site.
"Discover The Networks, launched by former radical turned conservative David Horowitz, is a central database that maps out left-wing agendas, activists and causes.
'I’ve got friends, too — and they’ve got friends, and they’ve got friends, and they’ve got friends … enough to cause a computer meltdown at Discover The Networks,' wrote Richard Eskow, senior fellow at Campaign for America’s Future, or CAF.
The veiled threat was issued in a Huffington Post blog piece responding to a WND article reporting how the CAF had launched a new website urging politicians and activists to wage class warfare. The new website, WageClassWar.org, also hailed what CAF called a new era in politics – the use of class warfare to win elections." . . . Read More
Constitution Still Rules For Now - Federal Court Strikes Down Illinois Ban On Carrying Concealed Weapons
Federal appeals court on Tuesday struck down Illinois' ban on carrying concealed weapons -- the only total concealed-carry ban in the country.
"The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals gave state lawmakers six months to come up with their own version of the law that legalizes concealed carry.
'We're extremely pleased with the ruling,' Illinois State Rifle Association leader Richard Pearson said. "Now that the court has ruled . . . we will work as soon as possible with legislators to craft a concealed-carry bill for the state of Illinois.'
The 2-1 decision marks a huge win for gun rights advocates who have argued that the ban on concealed weapons violates the U.S. Constitution's Second Amendment and what they see as citizens' right to carry guns for self-defense." . . . Read More

"Demos claims the “new wage floor” would lift 700,000 Americans out of poverty, and more than 1.5 million retail workers and their families would move up from in or near poverty. The think tank posits the pay hike would create 100,000 or more new jobs, thus stimulating the economy. It surmises the pay increase would cost consumers 'just cents more per shopping trip on average.'
The study, however, does not mention how the template for the 'new wage floor' is a failed Demos plan urging a 'living wage.'
The White House itself indicated support for the 'living wage' concept in documents obtained by the Associated Press in February 2010 that showed the Obama administration was considering a new policy that would give an advantage in bids for billions in government contracts to companies that pay workers 'living wages' and offer generous benefits." . . .
