1. Pentagon Push To Extend Benefits To Same-Sex Couples Stirs An Obvious Debate

"Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has directed Pentagon personnel to immediately begin efforts to extend certain benefits to same-sex domestic partners of military members." - FOX News

"But the move has sparked a heated debate, with critics arguing the policy gives special treatment to one class and winds up discriminating against others. 'I think this does qualify as discrimination against opposite sex couples who are essentially in the same position, unmarried by living together,' said Peter Sprigg, senior fellow at the Family Research Council.

In its own 2010 report on the impact of repealing the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy . . . which banned gays from serving openly in the military . . . the Pentagon warned against the scenario which is now playing out." . . . Read More

2. LGBT Group Sues School - Bans Transgender 6-Year-Old Boy From Girls’ Bathroom

Remember what candidate Obama had wanted if elected, doing his usual bait and switch?

"A six-year-old boy who has been told that he cannot use the girls’ restroom at his elementary school is being discriminated against, because he is transgender, an LGBT advocacy group claims in a civil rights complaint, according to a report in a Colorado Springs newspaper, The Gazette.

Coy Mathis’ mother said her son has lived as a girl, including dressing in girls’ clothing, using the girls’ bathroom at school and having teachers refer to her as a girl.

'We socially transitioned her to a girl, which at that age means merely changing pronouns and growing her hair out,' Kathryn Mathis told The Gazette. 'No medicines.'" . . . Read More

3. Oops! Senate Amendment To Obamacare Protects Law Biding Gun Owners

Hidden deep within Obamacare there is an amendment that protects our Second Amendment rights to keep and bear arms. This according to a January 10, 2013 Fox News article. - Truth or Fiction

"Amendment 3276 - Senate Health Care Bill Amendment is real and says: None of the authorities provided to the Secretary under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or an amendment made by that Act shall be construed to authorize or may be used for the collection of any information relating to:

(A) the lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition;

(B) the lawful use of a firearm or ammunition; or

4. New Hires at MSNBC. Mission Accomplished As Source For State Propaganda?

From a liberal: "MSNBC has long been as bad as Fox News when it comes to ideological bias. But with the hiring of longtime Team Obama loyalists David Axelrod and Robert Gibbs, it’s official: MSNBC is worse." . . . DailyDownLoad

"The cable channel that flies under the banner of NBC News is now all but a bona fide organ of state propaganda, an information channel that speaks in the same dominant voice as the folks running the government–and tries to mask what it is up to.

I didn’t plan on getting all free-press-and-democracy amped up about the hirings until I saw Axelrod with Andrea Mitchell last week in his first appearance on MSNBC. It was Echo Chamber Politics 101 with Axelrod characterizing some Republicans in Congress as irrationally wanting the draconian cuts of the sequester –as 'dangerous” as that thinking is.' . . . 5. FBI Jets For War On Terror Used For Top Officials' Personal And Business Travel

"Holder, Mueller, Mukasey used FBI's Gulfstream jets for business, personal travel even though Congress approved them for counterterrorism." . . . Washington Guardian

"Two corporate-style jets that the FBI persuaded Congress to lease for fighting global terrorism have instead been used the majority of the time to ferry Attorney General Eric Holder, his predecessor in the Bush administration and FBI Director Robert Mueller on business and personal trips at an expense of millions of dollars to taxpayers, an investigation has found.

The bureau's state-the-art, sleek Gulfstream V jets logged 60 percent of their hours between 2007 and 2011 on 'non-mission flights' that cost taxpayers $11.4 million, according to an investigation by the Government Accountability Office obtained by the Washington Guardian." . . . Read More

6. A Wife’s Perspective: Nightmare of a Husband and Father Imprisoned in Iran

"It has been 9 months since Saeed kissed the little foreheads of our children as he said his goodbyes early in the morning of June 22, 2012." . . . ACLJ

"Nine months since Daddy sung to them and tucked them into bed, and 9 months since I embraced my husband as we said our goodbyes, thinking at the time we would be separated only a few weeks, as he returned to Iran to continue work on building an orphanage. Maybe if I knew what was to unfold, I would have held him a little longer, talked a little longer?

It has been 5 months, since the frantic phone call that woke me up in the middle of the night, telling me of the horrific way my husband was taken—5 revolutionary guards, raiding the house and taking him, not knowing where he was or what had happened to him—5 long months. Maybe, that is why still to this day, I suddenly wake up frantic in the middle of the night; I turnover only to find Saeed’s empty spot, only to find that the nightmare is not over yet, only to discover that this nightmare will not be over any time soon." . . . 7. What? You're Surprised? Obama's Unions At The Heart Of A Nursing Home Nightmare

Labor Costs Killing Nursing Homes

"Lucrative union contracts have driven five Connecticut nursing homes at the center of a labor dispute into bankruptcy. HealthBridge Management has entered five of its nursing homes into Chapter 11 bankruptcy to escape labor contracts that left the company losing $1.3 million each month, according to senior vice president of labor relations Lisa Crutchfield.

'The centers have a bright future if they can operate under labor agreements that reflect today’s financial realities, but the fact is the centers will not survive unless we have relief from the crushing burden of unsustainable labor costs, especially the spiraling costs of pension and health care obligations,' Crutchfield said in a press release." . . . 9. OMG! - Have We Not Learned Our Lesson From Pearl Harbor?

Think China Is Watching?! Well it they're good with their spies reporting back to the military, they would know this is actually the Navy's mothball fleet. Source seems to not be on China's spy reporting list.

All four of the Atlantic Fleet’s big-deck amphibs are in the pictures — an event perhaps even rarer than a gathering of five carriers. However the report didn't include these ships are mothballed.
"The carrier lineup is reminiscent of the famous 'Murderer's Row' shots of World War II carriers at their anchorage in Ulithi Atoll. The only problem it was reported these ships are mothballed. " - Intercepts

What Intercepts reported: "With the returns from deployment of the carrier DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER on Dec. 19, and the amphibious ships IWO JIMA and NEW YORK on Dec. 20, the piers at Norfolk’s naval base are about as full up as they’ll ever be.

Five aircraft carriers, four big-deck amphibious assault ships, a full cast of “small boy” surface warships, along with nuclear submarines and support ships, are crowding the base, giving a comfortably snug feeling to the waterfront. Similar scenes — although not with the gathering of flattops seen here — are taking place at other fleet concentration areas like San Diego and Pearl Harbor.

The Navy makes a point of trying to gives its shipboard crews a chance to spend Christmas with their families, and for a few days the percentage of ships underway drops to the lowest point it will be all year. But many of these ships will be gone in two weeks as the pace of operations picks up again." . . . Read More - (Hmm.)

Background photo source: President George Washington

What will America look like under a second Obama presidency? If you don't have a clue, you better find one! Check alpha by state/city where this film is playing before November 6, 2012. Unofficial bio of Gerald R. Molen. A picture is worth a thousand words! This photo was not actually aT the White House, but, regardless of WHERE it was taken, the fact is that he cancelled the National Day of Prayer, said that we are no longer a Christian nation, and has no problem taking part in Muslim prayer. U.S. President Barack Obama bows to Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio at MacDill Air Force Base on January 28, 2010, in Tampa, Florida. Iorio had honored CAIR annually in Tampa with its own day in November 2008, acknowledging the large amout of Muslims living in the area. "Ayers, now a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, claims to abhor nostalgia ("Nothing is more boring than some old person going on and on about the way things used to be"). But he has been thinking lately about the past—both his and the country's—and soon he will likely be engaged in what he calls "a dialogue" about the sixties, the antiwar movement, and the radical life he led. The spur for this dialogue will be the publication of Fugitive Days (Beacon Press, $24), a memoir Ayers has written about the trajectory of his life, from a pampered son of the Chicago suburbs to a young pacifist to a founder of one of the most radical political organizations in U.S. history." Allow video to download and start in Window's Media player. “The North American jet that flew Obama and his traveling crew around for much of the primary season was refurbished with new seats and power for each passenger a must on the campaign trail. And the plane that once had an American flag on its tail now sports the Obama ‘O.’”
