Tancredo: The Disgusting Media Double Standard Between Obama and Trump

Pop quiz:

Who said, “The Middle East is an issue that has obviously plagued the region for centuries”? No, it wasn’t Ross Perot, and it wasn’t Donald Trump. It was Barack Obama, the same man the White House press corps hailed as the smartest man to ever sit in the Oval Office.

The political bias of the establishment media has never been more outrageous than what we see in the press’s double standard for covering President Donald Trump. For contrasts that will make your head spin and your heart ache, compare Trump’s treatment to the press’s idolatrous treatment of President Obama.

The media’s fan-club attitude toward Obama was unprecedented in the modern era. Not even handsome Jack Kennedy or war hero Eisenhower got the kids-glove treatment that Obama got. Obama’s frequent goofy statements and embarrassing gaffes were either overlooked entirely or treated as amusing sidebars.

Will any historian ever catalog Obama’s frequent misstatements of elementary facts? How many do you remember?

Here are few of the gems liberal historians will overlook:

Obama claimed the Americans liberated Auschwitz and Treblinka. No, they did not.

He said the world came together to save Berlin during the airlift. No, they didn’t; it was mostly an American and British effort, with Mexico, Italy and Egypt conspicuously absent.

He claimed that as a result of the Selma march, he was born. Not true. Obama was born four years before the Selma march.

Such historical ignorance and efforts at personal myth-making were routine for Obama —- and never challenged by the working press.

Obama’s hilarious mispronunciations and stupid asides were a regular feature of his speeches and interviews, at home and abroad. And yet, they did not tarnish his reputation in the White House press corps as a great intellectual and “perhaps the smartest man to ever sit in the Oval office.”

Oh, really?

“When I meet with world leaders, what’s striking — whether it’s in Europe or here in Asia…” – Obama referring to Hawaii as Asia.

“We’re the country that built the Intercontinental Railroad.” – No, it was a TRANScontinental railroad, and it did not (and still does not) connect us to South America.

“One such translator was an American of Haitian descent, representative of the extraordinary work that our men and women in uniform do all around the world — Navy Corpsman Christian Brossard.” –Obama mispronounced “corpsman” as “corpse-man [a dead person.]”

“What I was suggesting — you’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith…” – Obama mistakenly says “Muslim faith” instead of “Christian faith” during an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.

“Just this past week, we passed out of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee — which is my committee — a bill to call for divestment from Iran as way of ratcheting up the pressure to ensure that they don’t obtain a nuclear weapon.” – Obama was not a part of that committee.

“On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.” – Obama referring to fallen soldiers that are somehow miraculously in the crowd for his speech.

“I’ve now been in 57 states — I think one left to go.” – Self explanatory.

“The point I was making was not that Grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn’t. But she is a typical white person, who, if she sees somebody on the street that she doesn’t know, you know, there’s a reaction that’s been bred in our experiences that don’t go away and that sometimes come out in the wrong way, and that’s just the nature of race in our society.” Obama’s comments on his grandmother’s reaction to people of another race as “a typical white person.”

“In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died — an entire town destroyed.” – Obama talking about a Kansas tornado where 11 people died.

Now, compare the worshipful treatment of Obama to what Trump has experienced since winning the election on November 8. The establishment press won’t even accept the legitimacy of Trump’s election, much less the strong points of his policy initiatives. They won’t let go of the popular vote versus the Electoral College. That is not ignorance of Civics 101; it is part of a political strategy to demonize and delegitimize the entire Trump program.

The media has openly joined the campaign by the Democratic Party and the “Social Justice” left to deny that President Trump has any policy mandates whatsoever. The narrative is this: since his presidency is illegitimate to begin with, it is okay to use violence to obstruct him at every point.

Trump is justified and very smart to communicate with the American people directly and not expect the media to convey his messages fairly. Too many of them have become angry partisans in the left’s demonization strategy, and they need to be short-circuited.

Conservatives and constitutionalists have seen media bias for half a century, and America has survived it. Yet, never has that bias and that vituperation been so uniform and vicious as what we see waged against President Trump. When it is coordinated with the near-uniform cultural bias in the entertainment and educational institutions, a triad of treachery emerges to challenge the very foundations of civic order.

IN 1999, VIRTUALLY ALL OF THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA AGREED TO NOT REPORT on the torture and murder of a 13-year old teenager from Arkansas, Jesse Dirkhising.

What was the boy's crime? He was murdered by two grown homosexual men. In fact you can click here to read the police report on what these men did to this young boy, a report the national media was delighted to hide from the American public, a defiance welcomed by the leaders of the gay community.

And when these men were brought up in a trial for murdering a child, the national media was said to have snubbed that, too, with only FOX News covering it as reported from the desk of the local police station.

So as you can see, what is going on in the media today HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ALMOST TWO DECADES. Why? Because their reporting the news has been replaced by their creating the news. One is called information. The other indoctrination. One is freedom. The other is Marxism, followed by millions of useful idiots as identified and named by Karl Marx himself.

Too many America citizens seem to no longer care about the quality of the news reporting they receive from the progressive mainstream media, while even fewer seem to have any interest that their right to know has been trampled on. In fact, AOL news editors picked up a survey last week without documenting who the respondents were. That was important because AOL reported that 40% wanted Trump impeached.

This was after the media had said nothing about Hillary's lying on the cause of the death of Americans at Benghazi in hopes of guaranteeing Obama's re-election in 2012, a president who had said terrorism had been defeated while four dead Americans lay on foreign soil. In an on-the-street interview in New York City, one could easily see the media's success where only a few knew "what a Benghazi was."

Or to Obama's cowardly drawing a line in the sand, warning the Syrian Government that if it used gas again on its citizens Obama would move to stop it. But instead Obama quietly walked away. That was when everyone in the world realized that this American president was going to be filled to the brim with unkempt promises.

Obama's lack of keeping his promise as the leader of the United States caused millions to flee to Europe, their realizing the attacks on them were not going to stop. Sweden was already being referred to as the west's rape capital. And we need to never forget that when all the leaders of the western world got together in Paris to protest terrorists who had murder journalists in broad daylight, Obama would not attend saying he had other things to do as the mainstream media continued to cover for him.

Concerning the agenda of the progressive media, I had to ask myself what stories would AOL news cover and which ones would it not? This was around the same time that AOL's Huffington Post attacked retire Army hero U.S. House representative, Allen West. So I did a survey of one day of news in the life of AOL/ Huffington Post in October of 2012.

Notice how Obama is treated vs. Trump? In this story it's like the editor was making love to the former president. "Barack and Michelle Obama are off on a post-inauguration vacation and you can bet they are enjoying themselves. Known by many as 'America's Cool Dad,' the former POTUS has been spending time soaking up some sun in the British Virgin Islands with billionaire pal Richard Branson. And, much to Twitter's subjection, a recent photo that surfaced shows Obama embracing the island getaway in full attire that has the internet derailed." - AOLNews Graphic source - AOL News

Then in November of 2016 the American people finally woke up to the media's 24/7 corruption. But it would be thirty years too late from when the media started to "color news" through their national organization, the progressive far-left American Society of Newspaper Editors (ASNE.) The goal of the ASNE was to ensure that all stories that reported on immigration and lifestyle issues were properly reported across the nation through the ASNE's censors.

Concerning Jesse's murder, I held my judgment, waiting for a response from GLAAD on his torture and murder. But to my disappointment, it never came. In other words GLAAD would not recognize the murder as anything unusual to report.

It was as if Jesse never existed. And because of the media GLAAD controlled, it didn't need to. Only a few months after Jesse's murder, GLAAD's PR representative, (scroll down to "A Second Look" in this link ), told members at its national convention that gays no longer needed to be accountable in the media. And GLAAD never looked back. Nor did the progressive mainstream media.

What about the other Jesse's or Jeffery's across the nation? We will never know because the media will not report on them, just as it had refused to report the murder of Jesse 17 years ago.

Then when Barbara Curley was suing NAMBLA for allegedly providing materials to her son's own murderers in 1998, her asking for funds to carry on the fight, I wrote a reporter I knew at a large liberal newspaper in the northeast and asked if Mrs. Curley's plea had been seen. The reply was that the reporter no longer wrote stories on NAMBLA, that there was "too much harassment from peers at the newspaper."

But who could be against Mrs. Curley's law suit over her ten-year old son's murder? Who indeed, as the ACLU suddenly joined NAMBA against the mother, an organization that newspaper's stopped reporting on after the 1980's when the ACLU got in bed with the progressive media. Its funding was reported to come from more memberships of secular Jews and . . . wait for it . . . Islamic groups. Money talks, and why the ACLU no longer will defend Christian organization, as if it ever had in the first place.

So complaints on a corrupt media are no longer a surprise to me, and haven't been for years for what is now an "elite" media that more often than not will create the news rather than the facts. As the New York Times said after being accused of not correctly reporting on those responsible for an attack on a U.S. Congresswoman in a shopping mall in Arizona, "It ain't news until we say it is."

And it is getting worse as Breitbart's former editor, Bannon, is now being called a White Supremacist by Nancy Pelosi and her Democrat followers. This is while they happily ignore a REAL white supremacists from their own party. He had caused the murder of over a dozen black businessmen while chasing 2,000 blacks from their homes and businesses, burning down the black-owned newspaper in what was called The Wilmington Massacre of 1898.

In fact Democrats honored that White Supremacists by acknowledging his name for their annual fund raisers that they started in the mid 1960's and only gave it up in 2012, openly embracing the supremacist and racist FOR 50 YEARS! Oh, can you guess who attended the Democrat Party Aycock fund raisers in 2008?

Trump is correct on the mainstream media, almost seeming to want to call them scumbags. I am hoping the FBI and CIA will watch these media executives closely with their ties to George Soros and others, seeing those relationships as potentially traitorous to the United States. And if they're caught, maybe the authorities will send them down to the empty cells in Cuba at Guantanamo Bay and get to the truth of what has been going on across our nation for decades.

So when you read the above report written for Breitbart by former Congressman, Tom Tancredo, you can believe it. He even provides documentation for all his complaints the media ignored when Obama made his mistakes . . . just like they did in the murder and torture of 13 year old Jesse Dirkhising. It was like it never even happened. Jesse who?
