The prophet who wrote down all these visions was John the Apostle, (also known as John the Elder.) Revelation also told about objects that looked like mosquitoes coming up from the ground that could hurt you; yet in our world we would never think twice about them, knowing what a miniature police drone looks like, able to give great pain to a human subject.)
The people in John's vision of the future would need a Mark on the forehead or on the right hand to participate in that society's economy, which we suddenly watch becoming a reality in our own world, governments not forcing them on citizens but many citizens excited about receiving them, up to around ten years ago thought impossible.
Eventually, the author of Revelation claims everyone would need a Mark to buy or sell anything, anywhere in this brave new world. It is a place where human kind no longer wants to live among the faithful but instead able to create THEIR OWN morality without consequences, for instance maybe arranging designer babies to be developed in a state approved near-by lab you could keep or trade for something else.
These same times would also become unbearable for others, where Christians would be killed for their faith or mocked as fools all over the world by other similar religions. This is actually happening, as I write this for August 20, 2017, like a freight train racing down the tracks.
But science and technology after 2,000 years has finally caught up to the times written about in Revelation, only recently available in the last few decades. For instance, many had mocked the Bible in identifying ancient cities that appeared not to be where the Bible said they would be located. However satellites placed thousands of miles up into space around the earth would suddenly draw attention to strange markings in the earth only seen when looking down from miles above.
Archeology also became advanced in discovery techniques reading the age of landscapes using 3D laser scanning technology and GPS positioning within feet. Names in the Bible of people or civilizations thought not to exist suddenly found written on stones or coins.
Technology would explode in our generation to include computers that today can be stored in the pockets of clothing not available just a decade ago, all this happening at lightening speed. These digital devices would allow everyday humans access to technology never before realized or thought of, such as being able to plot the critical positions of stars and their constellation in the sky for today or any day chosen from thousands of years ago or thousands of years ahead.
Ancient civilization did the best they could usually carving their events on stone, creating outlines formed around symbolic constellations and their stars to explain what they were viewing in the heavens. Suddenly we can now see that virgin, her 12-jewel crown and a nine month birth, not here on earth but in the night skies of the revolving heavens above.
Why? Because these stories were never intended to be everyday living things you would find standing at your front door. They were instead names of objects that had been assigned to star formations that seem to never change position, the writer of Revelation knowing his visions would one day all come together in the heavens and maybe on one single day.
And that day DOES arrive without question on September 23, 2017, an alignment never before realized since the literal dawn of man until this special day in 2017, all written in Revelation about a vision given to a man isolated on an island 2,000 years ago.

"On September 23, 2017, the Great Sign will announce long-awaited Biblical Court verdicts — changing everything. The sudden change is because the Court will quickly move into its sentencing phase, propelling the world into the age of judgment.
These judgments are designed to purge sin from the nations, preparing the world for the arrival of the Kingdom of God. This cleansing by judgment will be sudden, massive, short and extremely violent.

The Great Sign will be centered over Jerusalem on that same day. As the day progresses, the sign of the Nibiru System will also rise into view on the horizon. This will cause the heralding to stretch from horizon to horizon over a four-hour time-span. The reason for a heralding on such a scale is that the actions of a Biblical Court are to profoundly alter the lives of everyone on earth.
However, if we are to see the Great Sign, it is said a special eclipse must take place. The eclipse—prophetically also imaged at the crucifixion—will begin at high noon over Jerusalem on that day, capturing the attention of the nations. Note: Without the darkness over Jerusalem created by an eclipse on the other side of the planet on the same day, the Great Sign will not appear, meaning there could be no heralding. We will only know that on September 24, 2017.
In one sense, the Great American Eclipse is the first heralding, or heads-up, regarding the apocalyptic events that are to quickly follow the Great Sign. Biblical Court is to direct trumpets blasts to be blown during the time between the sign of the Great American Eclipse and the two signs of the Virgin Princess and the Fiery Red Dragon that occurs between August 21st and September 23rd.
