Letter from North Carolina poll watcher, name withheld but verified by sender.
"I volunteered to be a poll watcher at the Board of Elections, which we all should do if we want to keep our Republic. North Carolina state law does not require voter ID or allow signature verification.
Yesterday was the first day they started putting the absentee ballots in the tabulating machine.
If someone did not fill out the ballot with all required information, a Board member calls the person to come in complete to complete the ballot correctly.
The Board of Elections called one at his home to ask him to come in complete the ballot correctly and found out he was deceased. A second one was called at the nursing home listed as his address to find he was not registered there.
I was going to vote absentee but the tray for the absentee ballots jammed and the Board of Elections took all the ballots out and re-stacked them.
Anyone with access to the key could take them out and put others in. And they do not tabulate the votes until 7:30 PM on election night. That leaves a lot of time for mischief.
The number of absentee ballots requested so far in Clay County, as of September 29th, is 250 % more than were requested in all of 2016.
The overwhelming majority of people voting early so far are Democrats."
