On Trump And Flynn
I think Trump made a serious mistake by letting General Flynn resign. I would have had a face to face with General Flynn. Then I would have either charged him with a crime, which I don't think there was one or the intent of one, or developed a face saving apology to the American people covering the situation and pulling the media's fangs at the same time.
It could have been a very low level diplomatic Q&A with no harm done. At this point I would seriously consider bringing General Flynn back on board, claiming him to be imminently qualified for the position and this unfortunate incident happened as the result of miscommunication. It could be a very valuable building block if used properly.
I hope Trump doesn't screw the pouch with this one. He needs these people retired or active duty. Unless there is more to this than is being shown, Trump needs to find his humble self and get Flynn back on board. - James |
