The Obama Photo Op

A pretty little girl named Suzy was standing on the sidewalk in front of her house. Next to her was a basket containing a number of tiny moving creatures. In her hand was a home-made sign reading "Free Kittens."

A line of big black cars drove by. Suddenly one of them pulled over next to her. A door opened and out stepped a tall, dark grinning man.

"Hi there, little girl, I'm President Obama. Are those kittens in your basket?" he asked.

"Yes, they are ," little Suzy replies.

"How old are they?" asked Obama.

Suzy replied, "They're so young their eyes aren't even open yet, Mr. President."

"And what kind of kittens are they?"

"They're Democrats," Suzy answered with a smile.

Obama was delighted.

He quickly returned to his car and called his public relation's chief, telling her about the little girl and the Democrat kittens. Recognizing the perfect photo op, the two agreed that Obama should return the next day but this time in front of an assembled media to have the little girl talk about her liberal-orientated pets.

The next day arrives with Suzy standing again on the sidewalk in front of her house with the sign and a basket full of free kittens. Suddenly, another motorcade pulls up this time followed by vans from ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and MSNBC logos on the sides.

The liberal reporters jump out of the vans and comb their hair as cameras and audio equipment are quickly set up. Once ready and on que, Obama steps out of his limo and slowly struts over to little Suzy.

"Hello, again," he says with a large smile. "I'd love it if you would tell all my friends here what kind of little kittens you're giving away."

"Yes sir," Suzy said. "They're Republicans."

Taken by surprise, the president stammers, "But . . . but yesterday you told me they were Democrats?"

Little Suzy smiled and said, "I know, but that was yesterday. Today they have their eyes opened."
