HFPA - "The
Hollywood Foreign Press Association is a group of Southern California-based
international journalists. They started the Golden Globe Awards
more than six decades ago. During the past 11 years, income
derived from the Golden Globes has enabled the nonprofit HFPA

HFPA's pick for best movie in 2005
was Brokeback
Mountain with the tag line, "love
is a force of nature." Brokeback Mountain is a fictional
account of two men who work as cowboys in the state of Wyoming.
We discovered the movie is taken from the original short story by Annie
Proulx, published in October
13, 1997 in the elitist magazine, The New Yorker, and
from one of her short story's titled "Close Range."
Brokeback Mountain is a fictional
account about two closet lovers who work on the range in Wyoming,
for whatever reason their parts given to straight actors. HFPA could
have chosen the movie about a true story, Cinderella
Man, an account about the comeback of a boxer, which will
surely be a 2005 winner with the public on DVD.
The real measure of any film will
be the dimes the folks put down at the ticket counters to get into
the theaters to see it. Anything else is propaganda, real bad taste,
poor film making, or so far left it can only be profitable in art
theaters. There are no far-right films that we know of produced
by Hollywood.
While GLAAD reported that Brokeback
Mountain was well received at its openings, if you read the
article closely you will discovered it was shown in New York City,
Los Angeles, and San Francisco, not exactly America's heartland.
When considering the membership
of HFPA, first remember that in 1999, Kathy Renna, the public relations
manager for GLAAD, told her organization's membership at its
fall meeting that GLAAD now had the high ground with the press with
over 1,500 advocating journalists infiltrated into press rooms across the
country, and that journalists no longer needed to get the other
side of stories.
On its Web site on December
12, 2005, GLAAD wrote,
"GLAAD
Celebrates Brokeback Mountain's Potential to Change Hearts and
Minds."
On the same day GLAAD also
wrote on its Web site,
"GLAAD is deeply
dismayed by media reports that Ford Motor Company which
has a strong history of support for the LGBT market has
entered into an agreement with a radical
extremist group called the American
Family Association."
GLAAD is the same organization
that supports NAMBLA, its Web site materials assisting a NAMBLA
member to murder Barbara
Curley's ten-year old son, Jeffrey. The ACLU to this day still
supports NAMBLA pro-bono, five years later after her son's death
and against Mrs. Curley's lawsuit to take NAMBLA's Web site down.
The ACLU says it's a matter of freedom of speech, the ACLU supported
through finances and membership of Hollywood's elites and journalists
like those in HFPA.
You probably don't know this, because
newspapers never mentioned it nor asked for it, but GLAAD never
did distance itself nationally from the murder of Jesse
Dirkhising, a day the press of virtually all newspapers stood
still.
Thirteen-year old Jesse had been
tied down with duct tape to a mattress on the floor and sodomized
with objects. His murderers then dropped their pants and spread
their warm feces all over his body.
GLAAD could have called Jesse's
torture and murder an abomination, but it didn't. Yet at the same
time the press had nailed the Catholic Church, which chastised its
priests for committing rape on Catholic children. It paid tens-of-millions
of dollar in restitution.
GLAAD members, on the other hand,
did nothing nor paid nothing for the deaths of these two boys along
with their grieving parents, the priests killing no one in their
sex acts. Sadly, it seems probing and experimenting with the anus
of little boys is approved of by the members of GLAAD. Why GLAAD
would support this is just beyond us, its organization calling the
American Family Association "radical," as seen
above. Yet this same organization approves with its vote and silence
heinous acts like these against America's children.
Today, Hollywood has evolved into
an island of secular-progressive activists, no longer just a center
for entertainment . . . preaching rather than entertaining. Now
that you know these things, you can understand why we say that freedom
comes from knowledge.
Finally and in that context, this
movie is no accident.
It was Matthew Shepard,
who was murdered by three, dysfunctional drug users who had picked
Matthew up in a bar with the intent to rob him in, guess where,
Wyoming. After this story ran, Ted Kennedy screamed for a hate
crime's bill in Congress. Yet Kennedy's silence over the death of
another American citizen, Jesse Dirkhising, and Jeffrey Curley,
Jeffrey's mother even a resident of Kennedy's state, was deafening.
To show you how the advocating press handled the death of the tortured teenage boy, Jesse Dirkhising,
and the death of adult, Matthew Shepard, I can provide you
with an account of my research of the liberal-left newspaper, the
Newark Star-Ledger of New Jersey.
In
2001 I paid for archive searches of stories with the names of these
two murdered human beings. My research counted the Ledger had
run forty (40) stories with Matthew Shepard's name in it, 33 of
them on page ten or higher in their newspaper, one of these an editorial
crying for a hate crime's bill and the other a front-page story.
Jesse, on the other hand, had only
a single (1) story in the Ledger with his name in it, an editor
at the newspaper sending me a terse e-mail that the Ledger had indeed
covered the story of Jesse's murder.
He lied. They hadn't. The article
this arrogant newspaper printed on Jesse was not a story at all
but a press release from GLAAD itself in the late fall of 1999,
calling a "conservative" group "homophobic"
for even asking why Jesse's story had not been picked up by virtually
none of the major newspapers across the country along with all television
network news organizations.
It was then a few months later that
Cathy Renna of GLAAD would stand up and give her arrogant speech
to the awaiting ears of GLAAD's membership that GLAAD now controlled
the press An accident in the Ledger's newsroom? If you believe that,
I have this bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
It's your country, dude. Keep it
or just sit there on your couch feeding your face. It's called a
democracy. If you don't participate, your ideas will be lost as
they should be.
And GLAAD's membership along with
NAMBLA and the ACLU are betting that is exactly what you'll continue
to do as they overcome your world and the world of your offspring.
