The Weekly Shepp Report

Your Conservative Online Source For A Summary Of The Week's News

The Shepp Report has daily access to over 70 conservative Web sites to glean for weekly stories to identify the dangerous progressive culture that clouds our freedoms. Gone are the days when news outlets provided John & Jane Doe with information to keep them motivated to run the Republic. These outlets instead ensure the Doe family is pushed out of the federal government's way through constant propaganda and social engineering. As I have warned for well over a decade, journalists no longer live with us. They only live among us . . . as if we're the aliens.

Hong Kong Police Break Up Protest:

Thousands Decry Chinese Legislation!

"Hong Kong police fired tear gas and a water cannon at protesters in a popular shopping district Sunday, as thousands took to the streets to march against China's move to impose national security legislation on the city. Pro-democracy supporters have sharply criticized a proposal, set to be approved by China's rubber-stamp parliament this week, that would ban secessionist and subversive activity, as well as foreign interference, in the semi-autonomous Chinese territory.

The pro-democracy camp says the proposal goes against the 'one country, two systems' framework that promises Hong Kong freedoms not found in mainland China." - ArkansasOnline

Planned Parenthood Condemed By Own Sworn Testimony

Click Here is video has been taken down by YouTube's "comunity standards."

"The Center for Medical Progress, whose undercover videos exposed Planned Parenthood leadership negotiating the harvesting and sale of aborted fetal body parts, released a new video today featuring Planned Parenthood officials’ sworn videotaped testimony about the sales.

The new video release documents the Planned Parenthood officials’ admissions, which came in Planned Parenthood’s own retaliatory lawsuit over the undercover footage and contradict Planned Parenthood’s public claims about both the undercover videos and the abortion provider’s fetal tissue research programs. The testimony was unsealed this spring.

The video shows how Planned Parenthood Federation of America, while under investigation in 2015, told Congress that its Gulf Coast affiliate in Houston had “rebuffed” an undercover proposal to sell fetal livers for $750 per liver and $1600 for liver/thymus pairs. But Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast‘s Senior Director of Abortion Access, Tram Nguyen, testified that she “wanted to move forward with it,” as documented in contemporaneous emails between her and PPGC’s Regional Director Dyann Santos." We Need to Stop Running From the Virus

Article by North Carolina U.S. Congressman Gregory F. Murphy, M.D., The American Spectator

The COVID-19 pandemic has led each of us on different journeys. I have been reminded recently that we are not all in the same boat, but rather we are all in the same storm. A storm facing this nation unlike any other in the last 100 years.

As a physician as well as a member of Congress, I am in a unique position to study and react to this formidable pandemic. Years of medical study provide the lens for how best to examine this crisis and formulate reasoned policy. Understandably emotions are running high these days, yet I feel it best to make policy decisions based upon fact.

We must use truths that we know and have learned. Emotions are transient and variable, while facts are permanent and immutable. It is highly regrettable that now we are seeing policy being rooted in sensationalism and politics rather than common sense and balance. It is a crisis that should have led this state and nation to come together, not tear us further apart.

We have learned a great deal over the last several months.

First, the virus can infect anyone, and yet the vast majority of people who are infected do not become severely ill. This is because we have variable individual immunity. A small amount of virus in one individual could make one very sick, while a large amount of virus in another may have no effect at all.

The distribution curve in North Carolina demonstrates those facts. Those over age 65 comprise approximately 25 percent of the positive tests. They are, however, the most endangered population. Of those who regrettably succumb to the disease, approximately 87 percent are over the age of 65 with significant comorbid diseases.

Further, it is important to understand where these people reside. The latest data from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) shows that, of those who have died, close to 58 percent live in nursing homes.

We know for a fact these are our sickest populations as data shows that half of the individuals who enter nursing homes live less than six months. Aside from those differences, we have seen many more. We have quite significant regional differences in our state. Our rural communities so far have had many fewer infections than our metropolitan areas. African Americans seem to have proportionately poorer outcomes than other ethnic groups. As one can see, there are many populations with many differences.

As a practicing physician of 30 years, I will tell you that no two patients are alike.

Each one should be treated differently according to his or her particular circumstances. There is no one-size-fits-all approach that is appropriate.

So what do all these facts tell us as we try to craft a path back from this crisis? It tells us that we should keep those most at risk protected. The virus is not going to magically disappear. So the elderly, the infirmed, and those in nursing homes need special protection.

What do we do with the rest of the population? Treat them all the same? No. We know that 80 percent of people who tested positive for exposure to the virus either did not know they had been exposed to it or had minimal symptoms. These facts tell us that if you are under age 65 and in good health, you have a greater than 99.8 percent chance of overcoming the virus if you even get sick. Why does the media not accentuate that fact?

Unfortunately, we have now seen political battle lines drawn across the country. Republican governors want to try to open up and Democratic governors want to try to keep things sheltered in place as businesses continue to weather the storm. North Carolina has a real opportunity to show the rest of the nation that a one-size-fits-all approach is not appropriate.

Eastern North Carolina should not be treated the same as Mecklenburg County. Singular patrons in small, sanitized hair salons do not pose the same risk as large crowds at Walmart.

Courtrooms with just a few people socially distancing could be safely run to prevent the massive backlog of cases demanding justice. The virus isn’t going away, folks.

We need a regional and relative risk–driven approach. We need to learn to proactively live with this virus and stop running from it.

Our state and our nation’s future depends upon it.

Article by North Carolina U.S. Congressman Gregory F. Murphy, M.D., The American Spectator

"Murphy has traveled extensively as a medical missionary. When he was 20 years old, Murphy spent a summer in Bihar, India, working in a Catholic leprosy hospital.

He subsequently has worked as a medical missionary throughout Africa, Nicaragua, as well as in the US following Hurricane Katrina.

Murphy was featured on the NBC Nightly News with Ann Curry on the 'Making a Difference' segment on February 8, 2010, for his work leading a group of doctors and nurses immediately after the earthquake in Haiti.`

Prior to public office, Murphy held a variety of leadership roles in both academia and the medical field. This includes serving as president of a medical practice and also serving as Chief of Staff of Vidant Medical Center.

Additionally, Murphy was a member of the ECU School of Medicine faculty and served as Davidson College Alumni President from 2015 to 2017 while also serving on the Board of Trustees.

Murphy, a member in good standing of the North Carolina Institute of Medicine, has received many awards throughout his medical career. In 2017, Murphy was given Distinguished Leadership Award by the American Association of Clinical Urologists. In 2019, Murphy was given the Distinguished Alumni Award by the UNC School of Medicine. - Wikipedia

Defining The Low-Information Voter

This domain collects news stories each week to help make it easy for anyone to learn what's going on around them. Either we wise up or we give up.

Too many of the Americans in this May 2013 video had a problem understanding what a Benghazi was, maybe a new popular drink at a local bar near Times Square? It proves that the mainstream media has morphed into the useless media, one that Washington, Jefferson and Adams would have probably spit on.

Why? Because with today's information technology, our media has no excuse for not having the details of a news story that would help educate the general public with their right to know the truth. Video source - FOXNews - Video: URL

The spur for this dialogue will be the publication of Fugitive Days (Beacon Press, $24), a memoir Ayers has written about the trajectory of his life, from a pampered son of the Chicago suburbs to a young pacifist to a founder of one of the most radical political organizations in U.S. history."
